10:15am – 11:45am: Jimmy Mitchell, Manager of Paramedicine Services at Centra Health

Paramedicine Services is meant to serve as an overview of Community Paramedicine/ Mobile Integrated Health. Jimmy will discuss the history of CP/MIH in the country, as well as go over the history of a local program at Centra and some of the others in the state of Virginia. We will cover an overview of the program at Centra Health and its current state. We will then wrap up with plans for the future of our program.

1:00pm - 3:00pm: Emily Robinson- Endert- “Leadership by Listening”

Leadership is critical to the success of companies in any industry. Oftentimes people confuse management with leadership. While they go together, leadership is not the same as managing. Emily will share lessons learned by listening more and talking less, as well as strategies to build a culture of trust so your team members are comfortable opening up and keeping it real.
